GRAB YOUR COSTUME AND COME OUT TO ZOO BOO!

- Tickets Now Available for the Area’s Premiere Halloween Event –

Every year, the Great Plains Zoo thrills children and adults alike with the Halloween extravaganza – Zoo Boo! This year, Zoo Boo 2007 promises to be a spooktacular evening, with more treats, more fun, and more surprises than ever! This year, Zoo Boo will again be three big nights, Friday and Saturday, October 26th & 27th from 5:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and Sunday, October 28th from 3:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

“Zoo Boo is a safe, fun way for families to celebrate Halloween,” said Zoo President and CEO Elizabeth Whealy. “The Zoo provides a great atmosphere and Zoo staff and our sponsors do a fantastic job of making sure everyone gets more than enough treats. If you have one family Halloween tradition, it should be going to Zoo Boo!” Whealy added.

Over 300 hand-carved Jack-o-Lanterns will illuminate the night pathways as you stroll through Zoo grounds gathering treats along the way. Visit the ever-popular “Hall of Flame” and the community sponsored Treat Tents, plus find new tricks and treats throughout the Zoo.

Zoo Boo 2007 tickets can be purchased at Hy-Vee, Lewis, Sunshine Foods, the Great Plains Zoo, or on the Zoo website, www.greatplainszoo.org. Tickets are $5 for non-members and $4 for Zoo members. Zoo members must purchase tickets at the Zoo or online to receive their member discount.

The Great Plains Zoo & Delbridge Museum is open daily during the summer from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., with grounds clearing at 7:00 p.m. Visit us online at www.greatplainszoo.org or call 605-367-7003 for more information about the Zoo and Delbridge Museum.
